Demolition of a Building Belong To Judiciary on the Banks of the Chalous River By Order of Head of Judiciary
Hojjatoleslam Mohseni-Ejei, Head of Judiciary attended in the meeting of High Council of the Judiciary held in Judiciary Headquarters on Monday and addressed the challenging issue of land grabbing in national lands and natural resources areas and prevention of land use change in agriculture lands and natural resources areas, and issued important instructions in this regard.
Hojjatoleslam Mohseni-Ejei, Head of Judiciary attended in the meeting of High Council of the Judiciary held in Judiciary Headquarters on Monday and addressed the challenging issue of land grabbing in national lands and natural resources areas and prevention of land use change in agriculture lands and natural resources areas, and issued important instructions in this regard.
According to FRWO’s website quoted from Judiciary's Media Center, Chief of Islamic Republic of Iran's Judiciary Hojjatoleslam Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei in this regard, pointed out a wrong and costly procedure in the country and said that "by spending a lot of money and quality construction materials, after lands tenure or squatting, or changing their use, luxurious buildings or recreational places such as a hotel or restaurant are built on the banks of rivers in front of the eyes of the responsible and supervising bodies, and then the relevant bodies destroy them", and reiterated that "this procedure is not the right procedure and should be changed immediately".
Head of Judiciary referring to the initiative to combat land use change adopted by Justice Department of Alborz Province stated that for some time now, in Alborz province, as a result of cooperation between Justice Department and the Agriculture Jahad Organization of the province, violations the rights and changes in the field of agriculture and water resources have been monitored instantly by using a specialized system of geographical information and from the very beginning, violations have been prevented in this area, and great achievements have been made.
In this regard, Head of Judiciary referred to the statistics and documents provided by Justice Department of Alborz Province and said: "Based on the statistics received from Justice Department of Alborz Province, from 2015 to the end of 2019, a total of 3,200 hectares land tenure disputes were resolved, while in 2020, the about 3,873 hectares land tenure disputes were resolved ; Also, in the first 9 months of 2021, a total of nearly 7,000 hectares of illegal seizure of land and illegal constructions have been prevented in this province, which shows the success of the Alborz province initiative to prevent illegal seizures and land use change.
